The Penrose family had a home full of character — dark walnut floors, generous rooms, a grand piano that anchored the formal living space — but the styling hadn't caught up with the bones. Each room felt independent rather than connected, and the family wanted something that felt more considered, more layered, more like them.
Indigo Design approached this as a whole-home story. We worked room by room to establish a thread of warmth and intention across the entire residence — curated art groupings, brass-framed pieces against warm walls, leather and linen textures grounding each space, and a dining area that finally invited people to sit and stay.
The piano room became the centerpiece — a brass chandelier overhead, a tufted leather bench, and carefully chosen artwork that lets the instrument speak without competing. Every room now feels like it belongs to the same beautiful chapter.
